Napoleon, a film directed by Director Ridley Scott, has had its premiere release in Indonesian cinemas on November 29 2023. As the title suggests, the film, starring Joaquin Rafael Phoenix, tells the story of French General and Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.
According to the Napoleon Movie website, the film, scripted by David Scarpa, depicts the general's continuous journey to power through an addictive and volatile organism with Joséphine de Beauharnais, the only woman who truly loves him. The following is a synopsis of the film Napoleon.
SYNOPSIS
At first, the general was portrayed as rude and unfit for a higher position. He still doesn't care about other people's opinions about him. He attempted to follow in the footsteps of Caesar and Alexander the Great.
His career in military and politics continued to develop until he finally became emperor. He uses various effective war tactics and strategies to fight his enemies, including trapping.
Phoenix, who plays Napoleon Bonaparte, will star opposite Vanessa Kirby, who plays the character Joséphine de Beauharnais.
